The Yummy Mummy's Survival Guide by Liz Fraser

EXTRACTS FROM THE YUMMY MUMMY'S SURVIVAL GUIDE

My first book takes you on your journey from deciding to have a baby, to conception (the best bit, let's face it!) right through the pregnancy to the birth itself, and then the first year of motherhood. I try not to hold anything back, believing that forewarned is forearmed, so some bits are rather, erm...realistic! But at least this way you know what to expect, and you're being told it by someone who has been there three times, and knows how good the good times are, and how hard the bad times can be.

Honesty is the best policy where motherhood is concerned, so I hope my own frankness and experiences really help you to enjoy your pregnancy and experience of becoming a mother. It's a pretty big shock to the system, but it can be the best thing you'll ever do - once you've worked out how to survive it!
