Pregnancy sure has some major downsides. But one of the BEST and most positive things about pregnancy for me is how it inspires me to want to CREATE.
Lots and lots of things. And in my case, most of all that means WRITING. 🖋🖋📔
I'd forgotten this from my last pregnancies, partly because I've not been pregnant for 14 years (!) but I've got a lovely surge of creativity buzzing about in me right now, somewhere bubbling up from the sickness, depression and nausea, and I'm wanting to spend time in beautiful spaces that make me feel writery, inspired, and THINKY.
Probably this is Nature's way of taking my mind off the nausea and all the shoulder and tooth pain. SMART.
After a photo shoot for Headcase in London I stumbled across the PERFECT space for this; the Bush Theatre in Shepherd's Bush.
Books, old wooden tables, typewriters, a piano, coffee...arghhhh, I wanted to move in forever!! 📔📔📔
Not sure they'd be up for that, alas.
Anyway, lots of creative projects are starting to form in my pregnant brain, and it feels very nice indeed. A bit dreamy, adventury, happy and very very exciting.
Which, really, is exactly what this miracle pregnancy feels like in every way 👶🏻🙂
