I've wanted to work in radio since I was a very young child, and still have recordings of me reading 'the news' and reading out stories when I was about eight years old. One day maybe I'll dig them out and share them here...

Finally I'm just starting out in radio now, through the interviews I give about my books or contributing to various programmes as a 'parenting expert' and I hope this will lead to more radio work in the future.

You don't have to wear any make-up for a start, which suits me, and it's just a medium that I love because it's so intimate between broadcaster and listener, and all the pictures are in your head.
